Starting March 11, South by South West Interactive (SXSW) kicks off featuring five days of compelling panel sessions and parties led by the brightest minds in technology.
I was selected as part of a team to help brainstorm, concept, and build out a daytime event and evening party that would showcase the culture with in our Design Studio.
The Brand concept was to 'Change your perspective' on the century old company that is IBM. We decide upon a system of 6 key experiences that would represent the products and moments we worked on.
My role was spread across many responsibilities. I collaborated with the creative director to ensure a cohesive approach was taken across each of the experiences. I coordinated the build of the Pixel or Make wall, the two main walls that would host the experiences, and the hexagonal entrance portal. I co-led up the design and build of the large scale string installation. As well as contributing to design collateral ranging from environmental signage, invitations (web and print), posters, tickets, and badges
